Fighting for speaking rights

When Mark was still learning to talk, he had a hard time getting heard as Daniel and Andrew were full-speed and volume ahead, so he had to shout away but with limited vocabulary, he could only stutter the first word with no chance of being heard nor to continue.

God says must share!

Out of the mouths of babes... come forth words of extortion:)

Andrew was still in kindy and we were in the car on the way home and Andrew had just finished some snack while Daniel was still halfway through. As he eyed Daniel's snack and could not get Daniel to give him some, Andrew very piously declared these words.

Who's the school bully?

This happened when Mark was at ACJS. He'd called Pa to report that some boy was bullying him. Pa then flew there with Aelu in tow to confront this big bully. At the school canteen, he'd pointed out a boy and Aelu then gave chase. The poor mite then scrammed for his life! Guess who the real bullies were:)

The Smart Cabinet - Daniel's teaching post

Aelu and Mark have been woken up before wondering what who Daniel was talking to ... it was the cabinet; a well-taught one as Daniel would did all his think-alouds there. That was the secret of his learning style! Now we have a very smart cabinet too:)

The Yaohan Bombout- the most unforgettable FamiLee event

Who can forget this? This was when the whole family went to Yaohan Thomson in the evening for our usual jalan jalan. All 3 were in primary school and Aelu (must have been in lower primary) was having some tummy problem. I'd earlier given him some constipation medicine but maybe gave too much *yikes*... and then he bombed out Yaohan! A mega-diarrhoeaic discharge at the Toy Section.

Daniel was sent down by Pa to look for me one level down at the supermart to report the crisis. Quick-thinking me (as usual:)) went to buy some kitchen towels and Wet Ones and sent Daniel to get Pa to buy a spare pair of shorts. When I got to the scene of destruction, our poor Aelu was still standing there in between the toy alleys, immobilised, with his feet stuck in the pool of youknowwhat. All the staff were like miles away so i got to work cleaning him up and changing him to the newly bought shorts and wiping up the floor. Only much later did the cleaner come with a mop.

What's your side of the story?

Why a FamiLee Blog?

First, because i need to know how this works so that i can decide whether there's any educational value in this. Second, since as a parent, i need to put on record for my own recall and for posterity, the many happy childhood memories of my three darling sons before they fade away fast and furious...
